Only in the last two weeks have I discovered the desire to make things myself. Since then I’ve been constantly looking for new ideas and ways to implement things. I left home six months ago and at first I just wanted to have everything in my apartment as pragmatically as possible. But now I want to give this apartment my own personality and make it beautiful. My whole family is super gifted when it comes to DIY, only I’ve never felt it before, but now I feel it too and I can’t wait to try, learn and create things that bear my signature. You’ve been a great inspiration to me so far and I’m super excited to create things.

Drew, congrats on buying a home!! That’s incredible! I’m so excited for all the HOME content that I hope is coming soon. I just got my first home last year, so I’m in a similar boat. My goals this year are to finish my faux plant wall in my entryway, renovate my guest and master bathroom (with some tips I’ve picked up from your videos, like peel and stick floor tiles), take the master bedroom fan and put it in the guest bedroom (then install a chandelier in the master), and get the home office fully set up and looking like a cozy NYC coffee shop with exposed brick (although that’ll be brick wallpaper, haha)

Your videos are always fun to watch, but they are also educational and especially a source of inspiration! I love the fact, that you do not shy away from showing us when you change your mind on something. It happens often enough with projects at home – the colour for the closet was not the right shade of green, one had imagined – and I find it a big and important step in a design process – and of course in learning as well. In showing us that even you with your talent for design have that moments, it helps a lot to get the courage to start any project and most importantly, to continuing and change instead of giving up in the middle. Thank you for all the heart you put in your videos and I´m very exited to see with what you will come up this year!
