HI Kiva —I read a good book this week about Iris Apfel . I think you would enjoy it. Fast short read, lots of pictures & what a story. She is currently 101 yo & has just come out with a series of rugs on Ruggable. Also on the topic of Marble. If you read in history people used to have marble tubs & their complaint was they didn’t hold heat well. I have seen several people comment on vlogs that have redone their bathrooms they regretted getting the stand alone tubs out of marble just for that reason. Hope you are having a great week.
Thank you so much for this video! It seems many are using budget, low priced etc in their titles but when you click the links in the description nothing is under $50. A $60 fruit bowl just isn’t budget to me. That marble peel/stick is gorgeous.
Curved furniture is here to stay and items so modern I love how u give advice to save money but still bring that high end effect u do amazing job at balancing the trends ideals thank u I learn a lot from you
We just replaced our old wrought iron and glass topped square coffee table with a round solid wood one a few months ago. Love it soo much and it was cheap too! I found a Pottery Barn table on fb Marketplace for $50. Score!
Kiva, you gave me a heart attack with you photo of floor décor. A pink chesterfield!! This could either be an example of mixing styles, or the lasting style of a Chesterfield sofa. I finally bought a brown leather one for my traditional home. I will never part with it.
Regular wall paint plus Kilz interior primer equals limewash-look. The Kilz doesn’t mix completely with the paint so it ends up looking like the limewash. I did it in one bedroom in my house and it looks amazing.
