今回は、賃貸でも敷くだけで和室を洋室に変えることができるウッドカーペットや、無印良品やIKEAのアイテムを使って、和室をホテルライクな寝室に改造してみました。

Good job! I have never seen a rolled-up floor before. I am wondering if the moisture that collects below the new floor will damage the Tatami?

Placing the bed in the center of the room rather than on one wall is still pretty asian for me than western. But I think it’s a good room arrangement considering that your bedframe doesn’t have a headboard, so circulation is more dynamic. Love it.

O love Japanese style. If I could I’d have an entire house using their carpentry style and decor inside the house as well
that wood carpet is a game changer!! I always avoided to rent rooms with tatami since I cannot properly take care of it and hard to properly rearrange my furnitures.. this carpet is definitely a must if you want something different!
