DIY!!
Here are 10 creative ideas for repurposing old fabric, lace, handkerchiefs, and doilies (and sewing is optional)! These are not your typical fabric projects! I’ll share ideas on how to use vintage calendar tea towels and retro placemats, how to create unique wall art with hankies or fabric scraps, embellish free and thrift store items, create easy earrings and watch bands, upholster a pumpkin, make an adorable pin cushion, create a fabric clock, build an easy memo board, and more!

I have never been so inspired to get out all my pieces and start using them in unique ways! You two are my favorite inspiration for a reason and this showcases it perfectly!❤️
I was already a fan of Rachel’s channel. It was great seeing you two work together on this subject. I had a few favorites on today’s video, but really loved the picture in which you did the vinyl lettering and flower transfers on the glass. As always, thank you for great content!
Oh Sherry! You did it again. As I watched each project I thought that was my favorite. But then there was another one, and another one. I just loved them all!❤
Quilted clock is very cute! When using precious fabrics, normal cardboard can damage them as it isn’t acid free. Add a piece of acid free paper in between fabric and cardboard mount to protect heirloom treasured fabrics❤️✨
SHERRY!!!!!
I just CAN’T EVEN! 😀 (as they now say)
And You’ve once again OUTDONE yourself!!
Very enjoyable and inspiring to watch.
I’m really loving your 3D (4D?) needlepoint/flower garden themed wall hanging – And your pumpkiny pumpkin with the vintage fabric, vintage spool and bird was just TOO MUCH beauty and whimsy and nostalgia to handle! What are you trying to do to me, here?!!😍 🌺 🐦
Such good ways to preserve memories! ❤ That needlepoint in the round clock frame is exquisite.
I loved the needlepoint in the refreshed round frame! That was a great idea with the wee frame, by adding fabric & filling for a pin cushion! And I have to say I liked the framed lace fabric in a frame. Oh goodness the frame with shelf attached was delightful. Thank you 🩵
I love how you re-did the bag your husband brought home, and also the red handkerchief. I have several hankies. I saw a valance made out of some that I often thought about trying. I have been a follower of Rachel (and her husband Matt) forever. It’s nice you both did a collaboration. ❤️
Love the little framed pin cushion!😍
I have tons of fabric and lace bits. Love all the ideas. I’m so with you on using these beautiful bits we hoard. Yes I’m a fan of Rachael’s page too. Thank you for another inspirational Monday! ❤
This video could not have been better timed! I just found several handkerchiefs that belonged to my grandparents. I still think of them nearly every day and wanted to create a way to display them in my office/craft room. Thank you so much for the inspiration. ❤
I just love this podcast, Sherrie! I have lots of fabric, some vintage, and am so inspired to do something wonderful, like you have done. Your channel is the most creative, positive place! 💗
OK, oh my goodness..this is beyond inspiring! I see homemade gifts that have deep meaning, home decor that brings a smile of remembrance and a bright spot of handcrafted beauty to simple items when I see this video. You never will know how much your God given gift inspires others Sherrie!

I love every single piece of ART you made today! That’s exactly what it is! It takes someone with true talent, a heart for design, and love for vintage to create pieces of art with such beauty. I love that your craft channel is different than everyone else’s and that you don’t follow the trend, you set the trend!! Thank you for sharing your inspiration with us. You get my creative juices flowing for sure!! Be blessed, and have a beautiful evening!
