The only thing I’ve done with my cardboard boxes that I have I use to make trash containers for my house. I get the size I want and I decorate it with that sticky paper and there you go and I have a new trash container. Oh yeah there is a lot of things we can do if we only humble ourselves to use all recyclable stuff , the thing is, is to have lots of fun doing it. And I also use my boxes to make dresser drawers. I have shelves and then I find boxes that fits or smaller boxes and decorate them up that’s all I’ve done with mine so far. I started doing this a few years ago. Thank you I’m so happy others enjoy doing things like I do.❤

The initial output for supplies can be a lot of money. But remember you’re not using all your supplies on one project. If you want to break down the cost, consider how much glue costs per stick, for example, as opposed to the cost of the whole package. The same for the vinyl paper, which may be eight or $10 for a roll, but it’s worth it if you can get 5-10 projects out of it, which means you’ve only spent two dollars per project on the vinyl. The crochet trim is very cheap because if you bought trim by the yard at a craft store, it would be several dollars per yard. Crocheting her own is very cost-effective and looks just as nice as store-bought trims. You get a lot of trim out of one skein of yarn. The whole box that she did here probably cost her no more than a dollar or so for all of the trim.

I love your crochet trim and handles and those hinges you made, very clever! Edit: I just started making the toilet paper basket. I’m going to make 2 that hold 6 rolls each. Thanks!

These ideas are lovely and super creative. Freindly reminder that they are not “environmenally-fiendly” as plastic lining is not bio-degradable.. therefore not friendly for the environement, even the natural rope is not, but cardboard is…we have to be honest when making such a claim. But it looks great and a step in the right direction..
