Love the “planter box wall”. It would have been best to seal up the whole project before putting the plastic in the boxes. I’m gonna have the “Ole Man” make me one of these. GREAT JOB!!!!
I really like the bench with the table in the middle but I think if I were to get such a thing it would be a bit different, similar idea but that it should have drawers in the bottom and some rain proof cushions.
I used to work in a warehouse. My job was tearing up the pallets to fit in the dumpsters. They were no where nearly as easy to break up as it’s made to look here. Pallets are made to hold a lot of tonnage. I used sawzalls, chain saws, hammer/pry bars, huge, heavy mallets, what ever it took to get them apart and sometimes they still went into the dumpsters beat to hell but still whole because they were not coming apart into nice little reusable boards. They don’t usually use standard nails, they use extra long spiral nails that don’t just pull out, you really have to work to get them out and by the time you do, the board is pretty ugly. If the pallets are used to hold food products then they saturate the pallet in a foul smelling, oily bug spray that makes the pallet, imho, unusable for something you want to sit on or eat off of. I imagine if you can find practically new, clean pallets then you have a chance at some nice projects but those pallets are not usually given away or put out on the side of the road.
