Really glad your soldering skills aren’t top notch. Soldering is scary for a lot of people, so seeing that it will work even though it isn’t perfect, is really encouraging!
Been watching vids like yours for a long time.. and most designs have ups and downs… but your dolly design with the wheels inside is amazing!! Nice Vid!
That’s a really cool decision witch eliminates weird step motors, controllers etc. imho it’s the best decision to start your time lapse experiments with. Thank you!

This was a great build. All the viewers who say it’s sloppy and tatty, who cares, it does the job! And all the other DIY sliders on YouTube require top notch tools, this one, anyone can build without expensive tool kits, lathes, Mills, drills, tappers etc..
