i think the natural grain is gorgeous! the only paint i could see on there is in the 4 drawers in the middle to create a sort of accent panel, but you did a great job restoring it
You did the right thing. The person doing a restoration knows all the flaws and never feels 100% satisfied. The passage of time will cure that. And a new owner will never know.
