I’ve never seen that technique of burning the tissue paper. Very interesting. I may have to try it. Thank you for all the ideas.

The puffy paint ornaments were adorable! I love the 3-D effect.
The burning technique is amazing 🎄 I don’t do decoupage, but this is one I would try!
Loved this entire video🎅🥰🤶

I have seen the burning technique before. It’s a very old method. My dad used to do this when making Putz houses from wood. He’d paper them and burn the edges clean.

Love the ornaments! Recently, I’ve seen 2 other DIYers use the lighter method when using tissue paper. I want to say that they mentioned Amber Strong as their influence.

Hello Jennifer, I hope you & your family are doing well! I love those Christmas 3D kits…they are so nice, I bought a few of them! 😊❤ Your nativity scene ornament is beautiful! That tree ornament using a burning technique, what? WOW, I’ve never heard of that before! That is a genius idea! I will definitely be trying it! 🙂 As always Jennifer, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy and positive! God bless you and your family! Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊🌲🦃

That burning technique isn’t new it’s been going around for a little while with paper crafters but I’ve seen it used more with napkins rather than tissue paper. You can go to even more detailed areas but the key to that is glue coverage, making sure every speck is covered results in a beautiful product ❣
