How to make a DIY makeup organizer? I have illiquid jeans. There is no sense longer to wear these jeans but I cam recycle it. I decided to make my own zippered cosmetics bag out of old jeans. Very nice pattern for Too many uses. Would it be better if the lining with the pouches were assembled separately and then fitted to the main body The same goes for the handle… Of course this remark in no way detracts from your creation, which you were willing to share with us . I want to save this to my sewing stuff list… I’ve seen many videos of the basic box bag, but you’ve done all these pockets that make it even better…
I just made it and it turned out beautifully. The outside switches from the compartment hide well in the patterned material. The handle stitches hide behind the inside panel. I didn’t use jeans so I my second bag I’m using fusible fleece on the outside piece and fusible interfacing on the matching lining piece to give it more structure. I also tacked the zipper compartment down. I absolutely love how these lay flat so you don’t have to dig for your stuff.
