So cute! If you repeat this adorable insanity, try painter’s tape (the “delicate” kind) it’s what I use as an artist and it doesn’t rip my paper, so your walls should be more than fine 😊
You can always try the yellow painters tape called Frog tape or use peel and stick wallpaper. You should use stixx primer after the peel and stick wallpaper. Stixx makes anything paintable without needing to be sanded. When you are moving you can peel it without the worry of ruining the paint that is already there. You can get those at Ben Moore 🙂 That info is from my hubby who has been a painter for years now I wanna say 9 now 🙂

Instead of the door i think the bottom ceiling fan blades with those would have looked cool and hey disco ball when lights on and its moving lol
