You can fold a damp paper towel in half and go up the sides to smooth the “icing.” That’s a hack on I how smooth buttercream frosting in real life!

The 2 story ginger and cookie cake looked beautiful!! I’m definitely doing that one!! Bethany, I watch a lot of fake bake creators and recreate the crafts. You’re pretty talented in that department. I’m not sure if you have a “fake bake” channel, but if you don’t, you should. You’re pretty talented. I didn’t know about the air dry clay fondant. The red cake was absolutely gorgeous!! I’m most definitely recreating that one! I usually make the dessert and then donate them. So your red creation will be bought from someone in Atlantic Beach, Florida and the proceeds are used to help needy families. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching me how to make it. These cakes are TOTALLY ADORABLE; there’s no way I could pick a favorite!!! 💖 I suspect that I would have to make cakes that were either “front half only” or a maybe just a slightly smaller size. The greatest part is that, if stored carefully, they should hold up well enough to be used several times!!! Thanks for sharing, Bethany. And congrats on getting close to 1M subscribers!!

I also really like the gingerbread trees and wonder if you made them too? Dollar tree should be paying you because you really advertise their products.
