Wow that is so unbelievably cool I need to try this! Hello from Sarah-Jo from Canada I hope you see my email! Happy new years to you guys! 😊
Wow, the very best reason why I love your channel! Take a great ideea and see what else you can do with it ☺️
Wow sound lensing makes me think of directed energy weaponry … Nice research going in France with sound and crowd control 😅 they made a whistle generating 7 Hz to 10hz which apparently is a killer 🙂 imagine being ble to vector and amplify …. Dr evil emerges 🙂
Never a dull day at FWG office. This is awesome 👍
you are the crazy neighbour everyone wants living next door to them.
Love your vids keep them coming mate
Awesome as usual 🙂
Is there a benefit to using CO2 rather than water in the lens?
Or in other words, is there a reason not to use a water lens to focus sound?
My first thought was that obviously sound travels in water, but maybe water reflects sound to such an extent that too little of it makes its way into the lens… or maybe the sound equivalent of refractive index of water vs. air prevents the sound from exiting the lens on the other side?!?
I’d love to hear what your physicist brother has to say about that.
Thanks
A small correction: “… in video 1834…” (02:06) should be “1384” (“How to make lenses…”).
Practically, would this work in a hearing aid to cut background noise in a room and hear what a specific person was saying? I am sure actually creating one on that small a scale would be difficult.
Sounds so cool! (although I havent heard it XD)
Would like a link on how to obtain dry ice in the UK as nanny state doesn’t trust us not to harm ourselves or anyone else.
I noticed other people asking about helium, nitrogen, would different air pressure work?
I love this new phase of all the lenses, and focusing all sorts of focuses. this opens up all sorts of cool possibilities (also, you mixed up 1384 and 1834 at second 2:05)
What an amazing idea, as usual thanks Robert.
This got me thinking about a program where the security forces used a sound cannon to keep people back, (the Israeli military have perfected) apparently it’s so powerful that they knocked a double decker bus over with one.
Any chance you could rig up something for a miniature home firing range using sticky-back plastic and binder twine to target plastic bottles and cans please?
