For the tape, you don’t need a paper clip, you can just fold over the end piece. 😉

Happy New Year!! I love the tape hack! I do the cord hack under the baseboard… a game changer! I also use essential oils, but I’m going to add them to toilet paper rolls. 🙂 The TP rolls for extension cords….love it. I’m going to start saving them for just that! Thanks for sharing some great hacks!
The toilet paper stamp is definitely my fave!! Also, with starting a roll of tape and not losing it, you can also just fold the end of the tape under and on itself instead of using the paper clip 😊

I’ve had plastic hangers that do what the chain does – had them for years and the benefit is that you have a hook at both ends so you can hang it horizontally while you hang your shirts, and while you take them off. The down side is the clothes do tend to wrinkle no matter what you do!

I love the essential oil on lightbulb tip
I don’t use fabric softener (I use a splash of vinegar if needed instead) or scent beads as pretty much all ‘fragrance’ is chemicals. I have asthma and cannot tolerate chemical smells.
Another idea is using baking soda to sprinkle on your mattress or carpet, leave for a while & vacuum up to keep smelling fresh. I also keep an open box of baking soda in the fridge to absorb smells. I guessing this would work in other areas of the home like the laundry & where shoes are stored.
Just be careful with essential oils. Make sure that the oils you choose are pet friendly if you have pets. For the deodorizer my grandmother used to use dried florals as well especially lavender. It’s a great small sewing project too if you have quilters/seamstresses in the family.
