Give yourself a pat on the back man! Im the same way being a fabricator/machinest all my life…alot of pride in parts made by yourself for way less than bought in stores & parts made for customer’s that u can say u would buy it yourself if needed;) hats off to ya bud.
Tip: Tell us what you are making before starting the build. Or after if you want to be suspenseful. But not having a clue as to what I’m supposed to do with object you build does not inspire me to try it for myself or wanting to watch another vid. Just my opinion.
Awesome ideas, one thing puzzled me though… Why reinvent the combination square when they retail at $4.00? (17:41)
I’m a little confused about the handle cheese grader but nice projects for metal workers I guess
Several of these things are available products but nice problem solving and fabrication skills. Enjoyed the video (with the volume down 😉).
To me, simple doesn’t involve welding lol
Everyone’s already used up all the best words! 😀 So in order to show appreciation for your ideas, and your ability too implement them into something functional, and useful, I decided to just watch it again, and to tell as many people about your channel as I could. God bless.
There’s no need to make a tap for pre-threading wood, it works just fine with a standard bolt or screw, even in hardwoods – just to save someone the time… 🙂
Dude just made a lathe out of scrap. Great work a few of these i could use keep it up this is really good stuff

Simple yet Genius ….. Thank you
It’s always fun to watch metal workers when they work with wood! I’m sure that works both ways, though. Uh, when you drill a hole in wood, you really should back the part with a sacrificial piece of wood. Then when the bit comes through it won’t tear out huge chunks of the backside of the wood, which it will almost every time. It’s not like metal.
