DIY!!
In this video I feature 10 thrifted, Dollar Tree and scrap wood DIY Spring and Easter projects. All of these projects will fit perfectly in a shabby French country farmhouse style home! Many of the supplies to make these fun projects can be purchased from a thrift store, Dollar Tree or resourcing things around your home. I show how you can take simple and inexpensive supplies and turn them into fun and easy decor for your home! Projects in this video include: thrifted, upcycled and yard sale finds along with some free scrap wood pieces! I feature several thrifted pieces that get a makeover including a birdcage, egg holders, metal tray and a styled bunny dinner plate. I feature, some new appliques from Totally Dazzled to sparkle up some Dollar Tree eggs, I show how to make easy rustic/primitive no sew carrots, I create a fun scrap wood mixed media decor piece along with a couple of rustic bunny and carrot scrap wood projects using free printables. I show many projects creating budget friendly pieces you can use in your home for Spring or any occasion. Decorating your home does not have to cost a lot of money and it’s also fun to transform items to fit into your home decor style. I use the “small size” trays with multiple designs paint them white and print my family photos in black and white and embellish one side with my handmade silk roses and leafs to create a wall grouping – just unique in my shabby chic decor. Another fantastic video, Teresa! Loved the birdhouse at the end and how you used a spool! That would sell in a booth in a heartbeat! You are so lucky to be able to spray paint outdoors. It will be a while before I can do that!
