My only tip for this flooring having laid it a few times for myself and family, is to deffo put another underlay underneath. Yes its not actually required as long as floors are flat, but another underlay will not only help with noise reduction (especially if using upstairs) but also help it retain room temperature better as OSB has little to no insulation properties
If you leave a 3/8″ gap around the edge, put 3/8″foam noodle round the edge to stop the floor moving out of position. it still allows for expansion.
I just drywalled our livingroom a few months ago and added interlocking vinyl flooring as well..
I designed my own window trim using chair-rail. It turned out really really nice
Even if you manage to break off the locking tabs there is a chance you can still use those planks along a wall edge (where those tabs would be under the molding. Floor is looking great, at first glance I thought it was the same material that Guildbrook Farms used on the flooring in their ICF house. Getting closer and closer to moving day!

One benefit of the underlayment is to cut down on air coming up from below. Especially good for second floors made from plywood or osb. Plus less likely hood of squeaking floors.
Wonderful show, guys, and I enjoy watching each week. The sticker-outer thingy on the thing, I call a tongue, a flange, or a rib to strengthen and interlock the floor. I remember when we build our new home in 1963 Mom wanted the floors to be all hardwood, and each board was plain tongue-and-grove. Each board had to be toenailed in through the hard wood, and once installed the boards sanded smooth, varnished and then waxed. I was 10 years old, so it was exiting, not unlike what you’re doing. We, however, hired a carpenter to build the house for us, and my elder brother helped with the construction. These are the best of times for you, no worries, yet, about how your going to manage getting up and down the stairs in you old age when the knees give our so enjoy!!

An easier way I found to save cutting in around door frames is to use the skil saw and take a piece out of the bottom of the door liner so you hwve a lovely straight edge. I know the flooring you are using has underlay but I would still use foam underlay underneath as it is useful for noise insulation and heat prevention as USB does not hold in heat very well. The flooring looks very nice by the way.
I installed this in my home three years ago so watching you gave me flashbacks to many “learning moments”. You did a great job covering the tips, tricks, and situations to avoid. People should understand there is a learning curve and they will make mistakes but the end result is worth it.
