DIY!!
ダンボールでモンスター・ハンターの弓を作りました。
手首のスナップをきかせて振ると弓が展開します。
弓にはゼンマイ式コードリールが内蔵されいていて、納刀時には弦が格納される仕組みです。
弓を展開した状態でピン固定することで、弦を引くことができます。
形は弓なので、弦をスリングショット用のゴムなどに張り替えれば矢をいることも可能です（あぶないのでやっちゃダメだよ）
納刀時に弦を完全に格納することも可能ですが、弦に多少の緩みがないと片手で振って展開することができなくなります。
なかなか矛盾の多い武器です。

モンハンはどの弓も基本構造が似ているので、外装を変えることで様々な装備が再現できると思います。
部品が大きい型紙は分割されています。
A4サイズ、拡大縮小なしで印刷、寸法線を目印にしながらテープ等でつなげてお使いください。

This would be such a smart way for game devs to capture animations properly with the actor holding a weapon that’s accurate but easy to make.

One day this man will do the impossible and make his entire channel out of cardboard.
no matter how sharp the blade/scalpel, how flat the cardboard is, the thickness i use of the cardboard, how big the cardboard is, i’m never ever able to make pefect edges like this, I’m definitely missing some technique to making builds like this, even small ones

You know apart of how ridiculously cool this is I’m still surprised I haven’t seen an actual smith attempt this; it’s one hell of a protect considering the mechanism and variety of the weapon they are (plus materials) I do still believe it’s possible even if it doesn’t do anything I’ll still be an amazing display. And the price will be just as good (easy 1k+$ heck possibly even more) but still worth it lmao 🤣

after watching this it occurred to me the way the bow folds means you’d always be folding the bow when pulling the drawstring. obviously ingame there would be a lock mechanism but realistically this would make the bow FAR weaker than if it was a single piece. interesting!
